Craig’s Canning Chronicles

Founder, Craig Snider, noticed that many of his favourite local spots didn’t have their beer available in cans. When COVID-19 hit and breweries needed cans more than ever, he knew it was the right time to step in with a mobile canning line — bringing professional packaging directly to the breweries’ doors.

The Kootenays

Jeff’s Journey

Jeff joined the team in early 2024 to support the growing number of Kootenay breweries turning to mobile canning. Based in Crescent Valley near Nelson, Jeff operates a 3-head MACS canning line from Cask and distributes supplies to customers throughout the region; from Kimberley to Salmo. Through Kootenay Canning Co., he brings the same local service, flexibility, and expertise that define Okanagan Canning Co., now closer to home for Kootenay brewers.

Okanagan Canning Co is now proud to can all types of beverages: beer, wine, cider, kombucha, coffee, or any other craft beverage our creative partners can come up with.
